Assistant Manager – Full-Time
£35,000–£38,000

Interaction Recruitment is recruiting an experienced Assistant Manager to join a busy retail store in Peterborough. This is a great opportunity to step into a leadership role within a well-established and growing business.

Working Hours:

• Monday to Friday: 7:00am – 5:00pm
• Every other Saturday: 8:00am – 12:00pm

The Role:

• Support the Store Manager with daily operations
• Lead, motivate, and supervise the team
• Drive sales and deliver excellent customer service
• Manage stock levels and merchandising displays
• Handle customer queries and resolve issues
• Ensure health & safety standards are met

About You:

• Previous retail supervisory or management experience
• Strong leadership and organisational skills
• Customer-focused with a proactive approach
• Experience in sales and merchandising
• Bilingual/multilingual skills (desirable)
• Timber or building materials experience (advantageous)
