Assistant Manager- HMPLocation: London/ PentonvilleSalary: From 40,000 per annumAre you an experienced educator and team leader ready to step into operational management within a secure environment?About the RoleWe are recruiting an Assistant Manager to join the senior leadership team of an employer in the justice sector, supporting the Education Manager in the day-to-day running of a busy education department. You will oversee curriculum delivery, drive quality improvement and help develop a teaching team that delivers genuinely outstanding outcomes for learners working towards rehabilitation and employment.This is a role for someone who can combine strong teaching credentials with the confidence to lead, coach and deputise at a senior level, and who understands the particular demands and rewards of education within a secure setting.Your responsibilities will include:Supporting the Education Manager with day-to-day operations, including learner inductions, allocations and conduct, and deputising for the manager when required.Overseeing delivery and continuous improvement across the curriculum, ensuring provision meets awarding body standards and employer expectations.Leading internal quality assurance processes, developmental observations and learning walks, and using management information to drive recruitment, retention and achievement targets.Managing and mentoring teaching staff through appraisals, probation reviews and tailored CPD plans.Contributing to the ..... full job details .....
