A hands-on Assistant Manager role in a fast-paced, multi-department hospitality environment.
This is an opportunity to join a well-established hospitality business operating a boutique hotel alongside a high-volume bar and restaurant, open daily for breakfast, lunch, dinner and late-night service.
The operation is service-led, fast-moving and guest-focused, requiring strong floor leadership and attention to detail.
The Assistant Manager plays a key role in the day-to-day running of the venue, leading shifts, supporting multiple departments and ensuring both guests and team members have an exceptional experience at all times.
This role is suited to an experienced Assistant Manager who is confident leading from the front in a busy hospitality environment and is 100% operational.

The Role
- Ensure the smooth day-to-day running of the bar and restaurant during assigned shifts
- Lead from the front as a visible manager for both guests and team members
- Act as a key point of contact across departments, maintaining clear communication
- Motivate and engage the team to deliver agreed revenue, sales and incentive targets
- Maintain business controls including payroll, stock costs and expenses
- Support all health, safety, licensing and compliance requirements
- Assist with recruitment, onboarding and ongoing training and development
- Review current offerings and contribute creative ideas and improved ways of working
- Take full operational responsibility when duty managing
About You
- Previous experience as an Assistant Manager in a similar-sized hotel with a busy bar and restaurant operation
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to drive standards and performance
- Loyal, committed and able to demonstrate longevity in previous roles
- Highly organised with excellent planning and problem-solving skills
- Professional, well-presented and confident working under pressure
- A positive, approachable leader with excellent communication skills
- Passionate about delivering first-class service and leading by example
