Assistant Manager - Fine Dining Hotel Restaurant

Yellow 42 Recruitment are currently recruiting for an assistant manager for a 5 star hotel in Ayrshire for their fine dining outlet. This role would suit someone who is ready to step up from being a supervisor or an assistant manager in a smaller establishment, ready to make the move. What you need to demonstrate Able to manage multiple outlets and a large number of staff. Effectively manage distribution of workload amongst self and direct reports Respond appropriately to guest needs during hours of operation Lead the team by setting a positive example Monitor employees to ensure performance expectations are met. Conduct appraisals in line with guidance given from the FandB Services Manager in line with completion dates Lead the team by creating an environment in which direct reports can take responsibility and authority for their own work and development In conjunction with the FandB Services Manager, develop and implement Training programmes for Departments Lead the team by communicating effectively Display an understanding of the impact that menu choice has on productivity and profitability Initiate and maintain timely recording of and follow-up of all bookings Conduct performance or reviews with direct reports as necessary on a timely basis Provide creative methods for improving Customer Service Continuously review and improve internal operations methods in own Department and suggest to other Departments how they might assist in general improvements through ..... full job details .....
