Assistant Manager - FinanceLocation: West London (Fully Office Based) Salary: 40,000 per annum Sector: International Banking Reporting to: Deputy Manager - FinanceThe RoleWe are recruiting an Assistant Manager - Finance to join the Finance and Accounting function of an international bank based in West London. This is a hands-on role supporting the day-to-day financial management, reporting and control of the UK subsidiary, working closely with senior stakeholders across the business.The successful candidate will play a key role in financial reporting, management accounts, balance sheet control and audit support, operating within a regulated banking environment.Key ResponsibilitiesSupport day-to-day accounting activities of the UK subsidiaryPrepare daily Management Information (MI)Monitor Balance Sheet and Profit and Loss movements, identifying and escalating discrepanciesProduce monthly management accounts, including KPI calculation and trend analysisPerform month-end close procedures and reconciliation of key accountsPrepare monthly expense analysis and closely monitor cost movementsPrepare accruals and prepayments to ensure accurate expense accountingProduce quarterly reports for group reporting purposesMaintain and update transfer pricing (TP) models between branch and subsidiary for shared costsReconcile office accounts including sundry, suspense and interest payable/receivable accountsAssist with statutory and internal audits by providing required information in a ..... full job details .....
