At Branching Out, we provide specialist supported housing and tailored support for young people aged 16-21 who are homeless or at risk of homelessness. Through safe accommodation, personalised support and opportunities to develop essential life skills, we help young people build confidence, achieve their goals and move successfully into independent living.

We''re currently recruiting for two Assistant Manager positions, each offering the opportunity to make a real difference while developing your leadership career within a supportive and values-driven organisation.

As an Assistant Manager, you''ll work alongside the Service Manager to deliver a safe, high-quality service that supports young people to achieve positive outcomes. You''ll provide day-to-day leadership to frontline teams, oversee support planning and safeguarding, monitor service quality and compliance, and help ensure young people receive the support they need to thrive.

You''ll play a key role in creating a positive and empowering environment where young people can develop the skills, resilience and confidence needed to live independently and make successful transitions into adulthood.

This role operates on a rota basis and includes some weekend and bank holiday working.

Opportunities Available

Assistant Manager - 18+ Services

In this role, you''ll lead the delivery of support for young adults aged 18 and over, helping them sustain their accommodation and develop the skills needed for independent living. You''ll oversee support planning, tenancy sustainment, safeguarding and staff performance, while supporting residents to progress into education, employment, training and long-term housing.

Assistant Manager - Move-On & Independence

In this role, you''ll focus on preparing young people for a successful move from supported accommodation into independent housing. You''ll lead on move-on planning, tenancy readiness, housing pathways and partnership working with local authorities and housing providers, ensuring young people have the practical and emotional tools they need to thrive.

About You

We''re looking for an experienced and motivated leader who is passionate about supporting young people facing complex challenges. You''ll have experience working within housing, homelessness, youth support, social care or a related field, alongside the ability to inspire, develop and support a team to deliver excellent outcomes.

You''ll be confident building positive relationships with young people, colleagues and partner agencies, and able to balance operational responsibilities with a person-centred approach. Most importantly, you''ll share our commitment to helping young people build brighter futures through high-quality support, encouragement and opportunity.

A relevant qualification is desirable but not essential. If you have the right values, experience and commitment, we would love to hear from you. We can support successful candidates to achieve relevant qualifications where required.
