About the Role
As Assistant Manager, you''ll support the successful day-to-day operation of a busy cafandeacute;, ensuring outstanding customer service, high food quality standards, and an efficient, motivated team. You''ll deputise for the Cafandeacute; Manager when required and work closely with the Hospitality and Event Manager to deliver an exceptional customer experience while achieving operational and commercial objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the daily management of the cafandeacute;, ensuring smooth and efficient operations.
- Lead, motivate, train, and develop the cafandeacute; team, including scheduling staff and providing support in the manager''s absence.
- Deliver consistently high standards of customer service and food quality.
- Monitor stock levels, manage inventory, and order supplies as required.
- Handle customer feedback and resolve issues professionally and efficiently.
- Maintain excellent standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and food safety.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety legislation and company procedures.
- Manage cash handling, POS systems, and daily reconciliations.
- Monitor sales performance, control costs, and support the achievement of financial targets.
- Assist with developing promotional activities and seasonal campaigns to increase sales.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to deliver hospitality events and support themed activities throughout the year.
About You
