We are currently recruiting an Assistant Manager, Functional Skills based on-site at HMYOI Werrington, in Staffordshire. As an Assistant Manager it will be your responsibility for leading and developing a team approach to the delivery of a high-quality service to learners. You will support the Education Manager in overseeing the performance of the site and, as part of the senior management team you will be responsible for maximising contract performance, developing curriculum, delivering quality provision and exceeding the expectations of partners and learners in line with the company ethos. You will be expected to deputise for the Education Manager in their absence and on other occasions as appropriate. Responsibilities: You will be accountable to the Education Manager for the effective management of the curriculum and to take the establishment lead for quality assurance and improvement within your curriculum area. The management team has responsibility for day to day operation of Education Department. You will maintain and develop positive internal and external partnerships for the benefit of prisoners and attend meetings as required by the Education Manager, cascading information as required.
