Assistant Management Accountant

A growing and diverse business with both rural and commercial operations is seeking an ambitious Assistant Management Accountant to join its finance team.This is an excellent opportunity for someone studying AAT, ACCA, or CIMA who is looking to develop their management accounting skills within a varied and hands-on role. The position offers exposure across two distinct entities, providing excellent commercial insight and broad finance experience within a supportive and evolving environment.Working closely with senior finance leadership, the successful candidate will support the production of management information, assist with financial controls and reporting, and contribute towards ongoing process and system improvements across the wider business.Responsibilities:Assisting with preparation of monthly management accounts across multiple entitiesSupporting budgeting, forecasting, and cashflow reportingPerforming balance sheet reconciliations and maintaining accurate financial recordsSupporting purchase ledger, sales ledger, and bank reconciliation processes where requiredAssisting with VAT returns and statutory reporting requirementsProducing financial analysis and reporting to support operational decision-makingSupporting year-end preparation and liaising with external accountantsAssisting with intercompany accounting and reconciliationsSupporting process improvement initiatives and system enhancementsProviding finance support to both operational and commercial stakeholders ..... full job details .....
