Assistant Management Accountant

Sewell Wallis is currently recruiting for an experienced Management Accountant to join a busy and established people-centric organisation based in Sheffield, South Yorkshire, on a 12-month fixed-term contract to cover maternity leave.This is an excellent opportunity for an Assistant Management Accountant to join a supportive finance team and play an important role in ensuring the smooth running of the month-end and wider financial accounting processes.What will you be doing?Supporting the month-end close processPreparing and posting journalsCompleting balance sheet reconciliationsProcessing and posting sales ledger invoicesPreparing and maintaining accruals and prepayments, including utilitiesSupporting the Finance Manager with wider finance duties and ad hoc reportingEnsuring financial information is accurate, complete and processed within agreed deadlinesWhat are we looking for?We''re looking for a QBE or part-qualified Management Accountant with a strong understanding of month-end processes and financial accounting.Strong communication, both verbal and written.You''ll be a proactive and organised individual, with excellent attention to detail and the ability to work independently while also being a strong team player.Short notice period, immediate start or 1 week''s notice.What''s on Offer? 34,000 - 39,000 salary12-month fixed-term contract covering maternity leaveHybrid working, with 3 days per week on siteFree parkingOpportunity to join a busy and supportive finance ..... full job details .....
