Assistant Management Accountant

Robert Half is delighted to be recruiting for an Assistant Management Accountant on behalf of a well-established and successful business based in Elland. This site forms part of a larger group with a strong track record of success, making it an excellent opportunity for someone looking to build a long-term career within finance.This role would suit a graduate with at least 12 months of finance experience or an AAT qualified accountant who is looking to develop their management accounting skills in a supportive environment. You will gain hands-on exposure to the month-end process, learn all aspects of management accounts production, and get involved in a broad range of financial duties.Key responsibilities will include:Assisting with the production of monthly management accountsSupporting the month-end close process for the sitePreparing accruals, prepayments and journalsBalance sheet reconciliationsAssisting with variance analysis and reportingSupporting budgeting and forecasting activitiesGetting involved in wider transactional and operational finance duties as requiredSupporting continuous improvement across finance processesThe ideal candidate will have:A finance-related degree with 12+ months of relevant experience, or be AAT qualifiedA genuine interest in developing a career in management accountingStrong attention to detail and good analytical skillsA proactive attitude and willingness to learnGood Excel skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a ..... full job details .....
