Assistant Management Accountant

This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious finance professional who is looking to develop their career within a dynamic and commercially focused environment.This role will see you working closely with senior stakeholders, supporting the wider finance function, and playing a key part in delivering accurate management accounts and insightful financial reporting.Key ResponsibilitiesAssist in the preparation of monthly management accounts, ensuring accuracy and adherence to deadlinesPost journals, including accruals, prepayments, and adjustmentsMaintain and manage prepayment schedulesProvide support to the accounts payable function, including invoice processing, supplier reconciliations, and query resolutionAssist with balance sheet reconciliationsSupport the finance team with financial analysis, including variance analysis and cost reportingContribute to budgeting and forecasting processesWork collaboratively with operational teams to improve cost control and financial awarenessAssist with audit preparation and provide supporting documentation as requiredContinuously identify opportunities for process improvements and efficienciesAbout YouStudying towards a professional accounting qualification (AAT / ACCA / CIMA or similar) or qualified by experiencePrevious experience in a manufacturing or similar fast-paced ..... full job details .....
