Assistant Management Accountant

As an Assistant Management Accountant, you will support the senior finance team in delivering accurate reporting and maintaining smooth day-to-day finance operations during a period of change.Preparing monthly management accounts and supporting the month-end close processPosting journals, including accruals, prepayments, and adjustmentsCompleting balance sheet reconciliations and resolving discrepanciesSupporting budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow monitoringProducing regular financial reports and assisting with variance analysisMaintaining data accuracy across finance systemsAssisting with audit preparation and compliance activitiesProviding wider support across purchase ledger, sales ledger, and transactional finance processesKey RequirementsAAT Level 4 qualified or nearing completionExperience supporting management accounts and month-end processesStrong understanding of accounting principles and financial controlsConfident Excel skills and experience using accounting systemsHigh attention to detail with strong organisational abilityProactive approach with the ability to manage priorities in a fast-paced environmentClear communication skills and a collaborative mindsetComfortable taking on responsibility and supporting senior ..... full job details .....
