As an Assistant Management Accountant in Burton-On-Trent within the Manufacturing industry, you''ll play a key role in supporting the accounting and finance team.

Your work will help ensure the smooth running of financial operations, including reporting and analysis to assist decision-making.

Our client is a well established organisation who are looking to add an Assistant Management Accountant to their team.

This is a permanent opportunity in Burton-on-Trent which offers a hybrid working model.

The successful Assistant Management Accountant will be joining a Manufacturing organisation who can support with study towards CIMA / ACCA.

Description

• Prepare and maintain accurate financial records and reports.
• Assist in the preparation of management accounts and budgets.
• Analyse financial data to support decision-making processes.
• Reconcile accounts and ensure compliance with financial regulations.
• Support month-end and year-end close processes.
• Collaborate with other departments to gather financial information.
• Assist with audits and provide necessary documentation.
• Contribute to process improvements within the accounting function.

Profile

A successful Assistant Management Accountant should have:

• Experience in accounting and finance within a similar role.
• Experience in a Manufacturing environment.
• Able to commute to our client''s office in Burton-on-Trent.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
• A relevant accounting qualification or working towards one.
• Attention to detail and the ability to work to deadlines.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.

Job Offer

• Salary ranging from -33,000 to -40,000, dependent on the level of experience and qualification level.
• Permanent position based in Burton-On-Trent.
