As an Assistant Management Accountant, you''ll play a key role in supporting the finance team by preparing reports, analysing data and assisting with month-end processes.

Description

• Assist with the preparation of monthly management accounts.
• Prepare and analyse financial reports to support decision-making.
• Support the month-end and year-end close processes.
• Reconcile balance sheet accounts and investigate discrepancies.
• Assist with budgeting and forecasting activities.
• Provide support for audits and compliance requirements.
• Collaborate with other departments to gather financial data.
• Help improve financial processes and systems where needed.

Profile

A successful Assistant Management Accountant should have:

• Experience in accounting and finance, ideally within industrial or manufacturing.
• Studying towards CIMA or ACCA (latter stage AAT Level 4 studiers are encourage to apply also).
• Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.
• Good knowledge of accounting software and Excel.
• Part-qualified or actively studying towards a professional accounting qualification.
• A proactive approach to problem-solving and process improvement.

Job Offer

• Salary ranging from -35,000 to -40,000, dependent on the level of experience.
