Assistant Management Accountant

An established and growing SME in the construction sector is seeking a motivated and ambitious Part-Qualified Accountant to join its finance team in Bradford. The business has built a strong reputation for delivering quality and reliability across its projects and now requires additional support in its finance function as it continues to expand. The Role Reporting to the Financial Director, the Assistant Management Accountant will support the production of monthly management accounts and provide financial insight to aid decision-making. This office-based position offers excellent exposure across the full finance function and the opportunity to take on increasing responsibility as studies progress. Key Responsibilities Assisting with the preparation of monthly management accountsSupporting budget preparation, forecasting, and variance analysisPreparing and posting journals, accruals, and prepaymentsReconciling balance sheets and assisting with month-end closeProviding financial analysis to support business decisionsAssisting with cashflow reporting and project costingContributing to ad-hoc projects within finance and operationsCandidate Profile Part-qualified ACA / ACCA / CIMA, with active studies ongoingPrevious experience in a finance role, either in industry or practiceStrong analytical and Excel skills, with attention to detailExcellent communication skills and a proactive approachA clear desire to progress within management accounting, ideally in an SME environmentThe ..... full job details .....
