Assistant Management Accountant

Your new company An established and forward-thinking organisation, my client has experienced sustained growth and is now looking to recruit a proactive Assistant Management Accountant with a collaborative approach to join their expanding team and business. Your new role Working closely with the Head of Finance and part of a wider supportive finance team, this is a varied and exciting opportunity with key duties including:- Control account, bank and intercompany reconciliations- Accruals and prepayments- Support with monthly management accounts preparation, including profit/loss review, balance sheet recs and variance analysis- Assisting with budgeting and forecasting activities- Fixed asset register maintenance- Supporting with year-end audit and statutory reporting requirements- Assist with system implementation- Process review and improvement What you''ll need to succeed The successful candidate will be AAT Qualified or nearing completion, or studying towards their CIMA / ACCA studies. A track record working in a busy finance function with experience of supporting with month-end processes and reporting will be highly beneficial. Strong analytical and problem solving skills will be essential, as will a proactive and positive approach to systems and new technology.
