Assistant Management Accountant

Permanent Assistant Management Accountant job with a dynamic company in Salford, Manchester. Your new company A dynamic and expanding manufacturing company which prides themselves on innovative solutions and strong customer delivery.Your new role Working closely with the FC you will be integral to the financial processes and systems improvement. This role will be a varied role from daily accounting, bank reconciliation and supplier statement reconciliation as well as resolving queries with customers and suppliers alike. At month-end you will assist in the completion of VAT returns, accruals/prepayments, journals, balance sheet reconciliation as well as analysis (using Excel to a high level) on stock/production and overheads. As you progress, you will provide commentary on the management accounts, liaising with the wider team and key stakeholders.What you''ll need to succeed You will already possess a strong track record in accounting, ideally with exposure to monthly management accounts. You will likely be studying your CIMA/ACCA, although a stopped studier is also welcomed. It is preferable if you have worked in a smaller team, ideally in manufacturing, in order to understand the production process.
