ASSISTANT MANAGEMENT ACCOUNTANT / MANAGEMENT ACCOUNTANT SALFORD, GREATER MANCHESTER (HYBRID WORKING) 35,000 to 40,000 + BENEFITS + STUDY SUPPORTTHE OPPORTUNITY: We''re partnering with a well-established and growing business based in Salford that is looking to recruit an Assistant Management Accountant / Management Accountant to join their finance team on a permanent basis. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with strong management accounting experience who is confident using Xero and looking for a varied, hands-on finance role within a growing business. Working within a small finance team, the successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the preparation of monthly management accounts, financial analysis, reconciliations and reporting, whilst also taking a hands-on approach to transactional finance activities including purchase ledger and sales ledger. THE ASSISTANT MANAGEMENT ACCOUNTANT / MANAGEMENT ACCOUNTANT ROLE:Preparing and supporting monthly management accounts, including profit and loss, balance sheet and variance analysisManaging month-end processes, including accruals, prepayments, journal postings and reconciliationsCompleting balance sheet reconciliations, investigating discrepancies and ensuring accurate financial recordsProducing financial reports and analysing income, expenditure and performance against budgetsSupporting budgeting, forecasting and cashflow reporting activitiesPreparing financial information and analysis to support senior ..... full job details .....
