Assistant Management Accountant Permanent Full Time £30-33k + Benefits + Study Support + Salary Increment with each CIMA or ACCA level completed. Derby Are you an Assistant Accountant with a foundation in manufacturing or FMCG, looking for more month-end responsibility, study support and a clear route into a Management Accountant role? We re supporting a growing, fast-paced business that is investing heavily in its finance function. They re now looking for an ambitious Assistant Management Accountant who wants hands-on exposure, strong mentorship and the chance to build their career in a supportive and values-driven team. This role offers full study support (ACCA/CIMA) and the opportunity to take ownership of meaningful work from day one. The Role As Assistant Management Accountant, you ll be involved in a wide range of month-end and reporting activities, including: Preparing monthly management accounts up to first review Posting journals and completing accurate balance sheet reconciliations Supporting budgeting, forecasting and departmental cost monitoring Performing variance analysis with meaningful, actionable commentary Maintaining the fixed asset register and depreciation Preparing VAT returns Producing weekly KPIs and trading reports Supporting audit requirements Running site level PandLs Reconciliations Completing bank reconciliations and helping improve financial controls Essential: Experience within manufacturing, FMCG or a similar product-led environment ..... full job details .....
