Description
The Assistant Management Accountant''s duties include but are not limited to:
- Prepare and assist with monthly management accounts, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Support budgeting and forecasting processes to aid in financial planning.
- Maintain and reconcile balance sheet accounts.
- Assist in the preparation of financial reports for internal and external stakeholders.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure financial data integrity.
- Monitor and report on key financial metrics to support decision-making.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements within the finance function.
- Provide support during audits and ensure compliance with financial regulations.
Profile
A successful Assistant Management Accountant should have:
- A strong foundation in accounting principles and financial reporting.
- Relevant qualifications or part-qualification in AAT.
- Experience working in an accounting & finance environment.
- Proficiency in using accounting software and Excel for financial analysis.
- A keen eye for detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to meet deadlines.
