Assistant Management Accountant (Maternity Cover)Location: AyrshireContract: Fixed-Term until June 2027Salary: 35,000 - 50,000Hours: 35 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 9am - 5pm (4pm finish on Fridays)FULLY ONSITEWe are looking for an experienced Assistant Management Accountant to join our organisation on a maternity cover contract until June 2027.Key ResponsibilitiesFinancial monitoring, reporting and analysis.Supporting and managing day-to-day accounting activities.Preparing financial reports and working closely with budget holders.Managing treasury functions, including bank reconciliations and cash flow.Providing financial guidance to non-finance colleagues.Ensuring compliance with financial legislation, regulations and policies.Building relationships with external funders, the Office for National Statistics, and benchmarking groups.About YouPrevious experience in a finance or management accounting role.Strong financial reporting and reconciliation skills.Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.Part-qualified or qualified AAT, ACCA, CIMA, CIPFA, or equivalent desirable.What''s on OfferSalary of 35,000 - 50,000 depending on experience.Fixed-term contract until June 2027.35-hour working week with an early finish every Friday.Opportunity to join a purpose-driven organisation in a varied and rewarding finance role.
