Assistant Management Accountant £30,000 - £33,000 Bolton + Hybrid and Flexible Working Hours (2 Days in Office, 3 Days from Home) Study Support Axon Moore are pleased to be working on behalf of a well-established business based in Bolton who are looking to add an Assistant Management Accountant to their team. This is a newly created position which will provide additional support due to growth within the business and this role is to further strengthen the finance function in line with its growth plans. This is a varied, hands-on role offering you a broad exposure across multiple areas of the finance function, with the opportunity to take ownership of tasks and develop your accounting skills further. You will then work closely with the Management Accountant and Finance Manager to deliver timely and accurate financial information to stakeholders across the business.The role would be best suited to experience Assistant Accountants or Accounts Assistants looking for the next step in their career with study support on offer.Key Responsibilities and Duties:Assisting with the production of monthly management accountsAssisting with accruals and prepayments, ensuring costs are recognised in the correct periodPerforming balance sheet and supplier reconciliations, investigating and resolving any discrepanciesMaintaining and updating the fixed asset registerSupporting with month-end close, including preparing and posting journal entriesProcessing foreign currency and goods import ..... full job details .....
