Assistant Management Accountant

Role OverviewWe are seeking an experienced and motivated Assistant Management Accountant to support the day-to-day finance function and contribute to the delivery of accurate and timely financial information. This is an excellent opportunity for an AAT-qualified finance professional looking to further develop their management accounting skills within a dynamic manufacturing environment.The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting all aspects of transactional finance, month-end reporting, balance sheet reconciliations, statutory reporting requirements, and assisting with budgeting, forecasting, and audit processes.Key ResponsibilitiesMaintain all aspects of the Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable ledgers.Manage credit control activities and monitor outstanding customer balances.Perform bank reconciliations and maintain petty cash records.Maintain fixed asset registers and prepare depreciation schedules.Reporting and ReconciliationsReconcile stock ledger balances to the general ledger and investigate discrepancies.Prepare and post accruals, prepayments, and other month-end journals.Assist with month-end and year-end accounting processes.Ensure accurate and timely financial information is available for management reporting.Support the preparation of monthly cashflow reports and annual budgets.Audit and Business SupportProvide support during internal and external audits.Liaise with operational departments to resolve financial queries and improve ..... full job details .....
