The role: The Assistant Lecturer programme is a 12 month programme under the supervision of an experienced member of staff and you will be responsible for performing a range of tutoring, lecturing, administration, professional duties, and other activities to deliver a high-quality educational experience to our students. As an Assistant Lecturer you are responsible for engaging students in the learning processes to ensure student outcomes are maximised and for contributing to the development of a range of subjects across the curriculum. Please note this role is not eligible for visa sponsorship. What you''ll be doing: Deliver classes and assess student work, ensuring that all learning outcomes are met. Provide academic support and guidance to students as necessary Assist Module Leaders and other senior staff in the planning of lectures, tutorials, practical''s and other classes. Develop, update, and improve course materials as appropriate and necessary. Keep up to date with best practice in teaching and learning, and ensure that your teaching reflects best practice and embeds technologies that enhance the learning experience.
