This is a temp-to-perm opportunity, offering long-term career prospects for reliable and hardworking candidates.The role involves operating and maintaining machinery as part of the production process, ensuring products are manufactured efficiently, safely, and to a high standard.Key ResponsibilitiesOperating and monitoring machinery safely and efficientlySetting up machinery and ensuring it is running correctlyMaking basic machine adjustments where requiredCarrying out quality checks to ensure products meet required standardsWorking to production targets and deadlinesLoading raw materials into machines and handling finished goodsMaintaining a clean and safe working environmentFollowing all health and safety procedures at all timesReporting any faults or issues with machinery promptlySupporting other areas of production when requiredRequirementsPrevious experience in a machine operator or industrial environment is desirableExperience operating machinery is preferred (full training can be provided)Good understanding of health and safety practicesAbility to work in a fast-paced environmentReliable, punctual, and a strong team playerAble to carry out manual handling ..... full job details .....
