About the Role
The Assistant Independent Living Partner role in Bordon involves supporting older residents within a housing association on a 3-month temporary contract, paying £15.00–£15.17 per hour. Working 8am–4pm, you will assist the Independent Living Partner by delivering housing management services across leasehold, Extra Support, and Extra Care schemes. Responsibilities include handling tenant queries, performing compliance and health and safety checks, managing the social alarm system, and fostering community engagement. We’re looking for an Assistant Independent Living Partner to join a team within an established Housing Association on a 3 Month Temporary contract basis.
Working 8am–4pm, you’ll play a key role assisting the Independent Living Partner delivering housing management services to older people living within leasehold, Extra Support or Extra Care schemes in the local area.
Acting as point of contact for tenants you will be involved in:
- assisting with queries
- carrying out compliance and health and safety checks
- managing the social alarm system
- helping to build vibrant, engaged communities for residents.
This is a rewarding opportunity for someone with excellent communication skills, a flexible approach, a strong understanding of the needs of older people and experience of housing-related issues and tenancy management.
You’ll need to be confident using IT systems, able to work independently in a lone-working role, and committed to providing high-quality, customer-focused support that promotes independence.
A full driving licence and access to a car is essential. You’ll also need flexibility to work outside normal hours, including evenings, weekends and bank holidays when required, supporting emergency response in critical out-of-hours situations.
A DBS check will be required.
