An innovative secondary school in Hamsphire are seeking a visionary leader to join its senior team in a key strategic role focused on inclusion and literacy.

In this position, you will oversee the school''s provision for students with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND), taking on the formal responsibilities of SENDCo, while also spearheading the development of reading and literacy across the curriculum.

You''ll lead an experienced inclusion team and work in partnership with teaching staff, families, and external professionals to ensure every learner is supported to achieve their potential.

Key Duties Include:

• 
  Leading the design and implementation of inclusive policies and practices
• 
  Coordinating SEND assessments and interventions with clarity and purpose
• 
  Developing a school-wide strategy to embed a culture of reading and literacy
• 
  Fostering strong connections between departments to ensure cohesion in support and curriculum delivery

  A qualified and committed educator with leadership experience in a school setting
• 
  Expertise in SEND legislation, with NASENCo qualification
• 
  Passion for literacy and its role in student achievement
• Exceptional interpersonal skills and the ability to inspire others through positive leadership
