Assistant Headteacher

We are working on behalf of a forward-thinking and inclusive school to recruit an ambitious and experienced Assistant Headteacher to join the senior leadership team.This is a fantastic opportunity for an outstanding practitioner ready to take the next step into leadership, or an existing Assistant Headteacher seeking a new challenge. The successful candidate will play a key role in driving school improvement, supporting staff development, and ensuring high standards of teaching, learning, and student outcomes.Key Responsibilities:Support the Headteacher in the strategic leadership and day-to-day management of the schoolLead on key whole-school priorities (e.g. teaching and learning, behaviour, curriculum, or pastoral - depending on experience)Monitor and evaluate the quality of teaching and learning across the schoolUse data effectively to drive improvement and raise attainmentLine manage staff and contribute to their professional developmentPromote a positive, inclusive, and high-expectations school cultureRequirements:Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)Proven track record of outstanding teaching and leadershipExperience in middle or senior leadership within a school settingStrong understanding of school improvement strategiesExcellent communication, organisational, and interpersonal skillsA commitment to achieving the best outcomes for all studentsWhat''s on offer:Competitive leadership salary (dependent on experience)Supportive and collaborative senior leadership ..... full job details .....
