Assistant Hatchery Manager

The successful candidate will join a fast-paced operation and play a key role in ensuring the efficient running of hatchery activities while maintaining the highest standards of welfare, biosecurity and operational performance.Your new role Reporting to the Hatchery Manager, you will support the day-to-day management of hatchery operations, ensuring that eggs are processed efficiently through incubation to chick dispatch.You will supervise staff, coordinate logistics, maintain equipment and ensure production targets are achieved while adhering to strict health, safety and biosecurity standards.Key responsibilities include:Managing daily hatchery activities, including egg handling, incubation and chick dispatch.Supervising, training and supporting hatchery staff to ensure efficient operations.Coordinating transport logistics for eggs and chicks, including vehicle maintenance schedules.Monitoring and maintaining high standards of hygiene, welfare and biosecurity.Assisting with the maintenance and servicing of hatchery equipment, incubators and hatchers.Maintaining accurate production records and performance data.Supporting ..... full job details .....
