Assistant General Services Manager

HRC Recruitment are working with a leading organisation to recruit an Assistant General Services Manager for their busy site in Renfrew.

This is a great opportunity for an experienced Facilities professional looking to develop their career within Soft FM.

The Role

Working alongside the General Services Manager, you will help oversee the day-to-day delivery of facilities services across the site, including cleaning, security, catering and general facilities.

You will be responsible for:

• Supporting the day-to-day management of the site
• Managing and coordinating cleaning and security teams
• Supporting subcontractors and suppliers
• Managing work orders and service schedules
• Supporting Health & Safety and compliance
• Liaising with the client and dealing with any issues
• Supporting budgets, purchasing and monthly reporting
• Assisting with payroll and people administration
• Supporting recruitment, training and development
• Deputising for the General Services Manager when required

About You

We are looking for someone with facilities management or facilities operations experience, ideally with a background in Soft FM.

You will be organised, practical and confident managing people, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a busy environment.

Experience of Health & Safety, compliance, customer service and people management is important.

SAP experience is advantageous but not essential as training will be provided.
