A new opportunity has arisen at our ibis London Luton Airport for an Assistant General Manager. Part of the Leopard Hotel portfolio, this hotel has 162 rooms and is located in a prime location, just 10 minutes from Luton Airport and the town centre.

Due to the fantastic airport location, guests of this hotel visit mainly for leisure as part of their holiday experience.

Job Description

Assistant General Manager

Be the number two to the General Manager, where your leadership, strong interpersonal skills and strategic vision will drive an engaged team, guest satisfaction and maximized operating results. You will bring your strong commercial and business acumen, and tenacity to drive the top line to exceed targets.

You will be responsible for supporting with:

The overall management and strategic direction of the property and support all departments in the achievement of operational targetsMaximizing the property in terms of profit and management of financialsEnsuring full compliance with operating controls and legislation in all areas of the businessBeing actively involved in the recruitment process of positions within the property to select the best fitChampioning employee engagement and promote a collaborative and inclusive environment where all employees are encouraged to work togetherDeveloping relationships within the local communityMaintaining product and service quality standards to exceed guest expectationsPromoting the brand and ensure all brand essentials and standards are in place and executed consistently.
