Assistant Financial Controller

Client Details Reporting to the Financial Controller, this position supports financial reporting, risk management, and audit activities, helping to ensure a strong control environment and adherence to regulatory and tax requirements Description Key Responsibilities: Support the Financial Controller with the delivery of accurate and timely monthly management accounts, financial reporting and analysis. Assist with month-end and year-end close processes, including journal entries, accruals, prepayments, reconciliations and balance sheet reviews. Prepare and review financial information to ensure accuracy, completeness and compliance with relevant accounting standards and company policies. Support the preparation of budgets, forecasts and financial plans, providing analysis and insight into key variances and business performance. Produce regular financial reports and management information for senior stakeholders, highlighting trends, risks and opportunities. Assist with the preparation of statutory accounts, audit requirements and other external reporting.
