The Assistant Financial Controller will support the finance department and maintain all effective controls and associated management reporting for the HotelEnsure the Profit and Loss month end reporting pack produced on time, with all accounts accurately reviewed and reconciledReconcile all Balance Sheet Control Accounts monthlyReview existing policies and controls, develop and implement best practice financial accounting and added value control proceduresWork alongside the Finance Controller, General Manager and Hotel Heads of Department to provide full and accurate forecasts and budget proposalsAssist Heads of the Department to improve their financial awarenessLiaise and co-operate with Internal Audit and all External Audit bodiesComplete any and all other ad hoc duties that may be required, as directed by the Financial ControllerMore about you...Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial procedures.Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.Strong communication skills with a high standard of written and spoken English.Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.Most of all, you have an approachable, positive, and proactive manner.Experience in a similar role within a 4-star hotel is a significant advantage.Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel, is required.Grow with us...
