Our well-regarded manufacturing client in Hemel Hempstead needs some additional support in their finance team. This Assistant Accountant role is working for an international business, and their UK office is based in beautiful offices with excellent facilities.Role:Provide comprehensive support to the finance team and to assist the Senior Finance Managerin the preparation and submission of the VAT and corporation tax related statutory filings within the group with the help of tax advisorsin the preparation of the statutory accountsin the reporting of actuals and forecasts to the group treasury teamin the completion of tax audits and other ad hoc projectsPrepare monthly and quarterly VAT returns and reconcile to the TBPrepare information for tax packs as requested by external tax advisorsAssist with VAT and income tax auditsMaintain schedule of returns to be filed for each countryAssist in preparing supporting documentation to prepare statutory accountsAssist in checking the statutory accounts before director approvalReport cash movements as required to treasury departmentAssist in preparing cashflow forecastsAssist in reviewing and clearing down intercompany balancesSkills and experience:Part qualified accountantBasic book-keeping knowledge.Experience of balance sheet reconciliations.Experience of ..... full job details .....
