REED Accountancy are recruiting an Assistant Financial Accountant to support the Financial Reporting function of a privately owned group. The role will involve assisting with the preparation of statutory accounts, financial reporting, reconciliations, and tax compliance across multiple entities.This position offers an excellent opportunity for a part-qualified accountant or experienced finance professional looking to develop their technical accounting experience, particularly in statutory reporting and group accounting.This role would suit an ACCA/ACA part-qualified or AAT qualified accountant currently working in practice who is looking to move into industry.Assistant Financial AccountantDepartment: FinanceReporting to: Financial Reporting Manager and Chief Financial Officer Location: Christchurch, Dorset Salary: £30,000 - £45,000 per annum (depending on experience)Key ResponsibilitiesPrepare working papers supporting the preparation of Group accounts in accordance with IFRS where applicable.Assist with the preparation of statutory accounts for all subsidiaries in compliance with current UK GAAP.Perform fund accounting for Trusts and assist in the preparation of Trust accounts.Support accounting processes related to investment management activities.Prepare and review balance sheet reconciliations.Assist with the preparation of corporate and personal tax computations.Review accounting records at the entity level on a monthly basis.Provide management accounting and financial ..... full job details .....
