Assistant Financial Accountant

Marc Daniels are recruiting for an Assistant Financial Accountant to join a well-established, international organisation based in Oxfordshire.This is an excellent opportunity for a part-qualified accountant to gain exposure to group reporting, statutory accounts, and month-end processes within a fast-paced and collaborative environment. The role offers strong development opportunities and the chance to work closely with senior stakeholders across the business. Responsibilities:Support the month-end close process, including preparation of journals, accruals, and prepaymentsProduce accurate and timely financial reports for internal stakeholdersPerform balance sheet reconciliations and investigate variancesAssist with the preparation of statutory accounts and external reporting requirementsSupport group reporting processes and submissions to the parent companyPrepare cashflow reporting and assist with forecasting activitiesMaintain the general ledger and ensure data integrityAssist with budgeting and forecasting processesPartner with non-finance stakeholders to provide financial insight and supportContribute to continuous improvement of processes and reportingRequirements:Studying towards ACCA, ACA, or CIMAPrevious experience in a finance or accounting roleStrong Excel skillsGood understanding of month-end processes and reconciliationsStrong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlinesExcellent communication skills and ability to work with stakeholders at all ..... full job details .....
