Assistant Financial Accountant Location: Lincoln (office based) Salary: £32,000 per annum + bonus Vacancy Type: Permanent, Full Time Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday (half day finish on a Friday) Opportunity for career growth and study support Benjamin Edwards are recruiting for an Assistant Financial Accountant to join an established and successful business based in Lincoln. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to continue developing their accounting career within a busy finance team. Working closely with the Financial Controller, you will gain broad exposure across management accounts, statutory reporting, budgeting, forecasting and cash flow, alongside involvement in wider finance projects and systems improvements. The role would suit someone who is either studying towards a professional accounting qualification or looking to progress their experience within a Financial Accountant/Management Accountant environment. The role You will support the Financial Controller and wider finance team with: Preparation of monthly management accounts, ensuring accurate and timely reporting Completing and reviewing balance sheet reconciliations Supporting the preparation of PandL, balance sheet and cash flow reporting Investigating and explaining variances against budget and prior year Supporting year-end close and preparation of statutory accounts Preparing information and supporting schedules for the year-end audit Liaising with external auditors Assisting with ..... full job details .....
