Assistant Finance Manager Location: Thirsk Salary: £35,000 - £37,000 per annum (depending on experience) Hours: Full-time, permanent. 4 day working week Monday - Thursday Are you an experienced and proactive finance professional looking for a varied and rewarding role? We re looking for an Assistant Finance Manager to join our clients busy and supportive finance team. The Role As a key member of the finance team, you ll play a central role in producing accurate and timely financial information, supporting management with insightful reporting, and ensuring the smooth running of day-to-day finance operation. Your responsibilities will include: Producing month-end financial accounts, including prepayments, accruals, and fixed asset reconciliations. Preparing variance and spend analysis reports to support financial decision-making. Managing the monthly payroll process to ensure accuracy and compliance. Overseeing stock valuation and monitoring cost trends. Running credit checks and maintaining strong credit control procedures. Supervising finance team members and providing support with ad hoc finance matters. Maintaining accurate staff absence and holiday records.
