Assistant Finance Manager

Hays Non-Qualified Finance are currently recruiting for an Assistant Finance Manager opportunity with a well-established organisation based in Haverfordwest.This role reports into the Finance Manager / Head of Finance and plays a key part in supporting the financial performance of a busy operational environment. It offers excellent exposure across core finance activities, with the opportunity to get involved in both day-to-day finance operations and wider process improvement initiatives.Responsibilities:Supporting day-to-day finance operations and ensuring accurate processing of transactionsInputting and checking timesheet data while following up on outstanding submissionsAssisting with payroll tasks and general support to the wider finance teamMaintaining accurate financial records in line with internal proceduresPreparing and issuing invoices and resolving related queriesUpdating systems with project costs and revenue informationSupporting credit control by monitoring and following up overdue balancesAssisting with month-end processes, including reconciliations and audit supportIdentifying and contributing to improvements within finance processesThis position would suit a finance professional who is organised, and keen to build a long-term career in a fast-paced environment.
