Assistant Finance Manager

Here at Abbot Fire Group we re looking for an Assistant Finance Manager to join our growing team, supporting financial operations within a fast-paced fire protection business with a turnover of approximately £3.5 million. This is a key role within the organisation, working closely with the Finance Director to ensure the smooth running of all financial activities, maintain compliance with UK regulations, and support the company s ongoing stability and growth.The Assistant Finance Manager will take ownership of day-to-day accounting functions including accounts payable and receivable, general ledger maintenance, and bank reconciliations. The role also involves supporting financial reporting, budgeting, payroll processes, and continuous improvement of financial systems and controls. This position requires strong attention to detail, excellent organisational skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities within a small business environment.What you receive for joining us:We re offering a salary of £35,000 to £38,000 dependent on experience, along with the opportunity to develop your career within a supportive and growing organisation.
