They are currently seeking an Assistant Finance Business Partner to join their team on a full-time basis for an initial 12-month fixed-term contract, with the possibility of extension. This role is crucial for providing timely, accurate, and insightful financial information, contributing to effective decision-making and ensuring our services are financially sustainable and aligned with our organisational strategy. Day-to-day of the role: Business Partnering and Stakeholder Support: Assist Finance Business Partners in delivering proactive and value-adding finance services, enhancing financial understanding and engagement across teams. Build and maintain relationships with service managers to support informed decision-making. Financial Reporting, Analysis and Control: Help in preparing monthly management accounts, including variance analysis and commentary. Ensure financial reporting is accurate, timely, and relevant. Analyse financial and operational data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities. Budgeting and Forecasting: Aid in the preparation and reforecasting of budgets, collaborating with service managers to ensure robust and operationally aligned financial planning.
