Assistant Factory ManagerLocation: Dartford, Kent Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 4:30pm Work Pattern: Fully Factory-BasedThe RoleWe are seeking an experienced and motivated Assistant Factory Manager to support the Factory Manager in overseeing the day-to-day operations of our manufacturing facility in Dartford.This is a hands-on leadership role, responsible for ensuring production targets are achieved while maintaining the highest standards of quality, safety, and operational efficiency. You will play a key part in supervising production teams, driving continuous improvement, and supporting the smooth running of factory operations.Key ResponsibilitiesProduction and OperationsAssist in planning, coordinating, and monitoring daily production activities.Ensure production targets, KPIs, and delivery schedules are consistently achieved.Monitor workflow and identify opportunities to improve efficiency.Support process improvements and lean manufacturing initiatives.Team LeadershipSupervise production staff, team leaders, and supervisors.Assist with recruitment, training, and development of factory personnel.Conduct performance reviews and provide coaching and support.Promote a positive, productive, and safety-focused working environment.Health and SafetyEnsure compliance with all health and safety regulations and company procedures.Carry out safety audits, risk assessments, and toolbox talks.Investigate incidents and implement corrective actions where required.Maintain a strong ..... full job details .....
