Are you a Facilities Coordinator looking to step up into an Assistant Facilities Manager role with a fast-growing company?
 
I am currently supporting a growing Facilities Management business with their recruitment for an Assistant Facilities Manager to join their team in Newport.
 
This is a great opportunity to join a well-established and expanding business, working closely with senior management and playing a key role in the day-to-day running of FM operations across multiple contracts.
 
Responsibilities:

  • Supporting the Head of FM with the day-to-day management of contracts
  • Coordinating planned (PPM) and reactive maintenance works
  • Managing and prioritising incoming jobs via email, phone, and CAFM systems
  • Overseeing office functions and supporting the FM Administrator
  • Maintaining strong client relationships and providing regular updates
  • Assisting with quotations, scheduling, and general operations
  • Supporting monthly invoicing and basic financial administration
Skills & Experience:
  • Experience within Facilities Management or a similar environment
  • Strong organisational and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and customer-facing ability
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • Good attention to detail
  • Experience with CAFM systems (desirable)
  • Hands-on and flexible approach
