Join an established specialist contractor restoring and conserving historic buildings, churches and scheduled monuments. With more than 35 years in the sector, the business combines traditional craftsmanship with modern construction methods to preserve some of the UK''s most significant buildings. Based in the Vauxhall estimating department, you will support experienced estimators across refurbishment, restoration and conservation tenders. This is an opportunity to build your technical knowledge, strengthen your pricing skills and gain practical experience through site visits and client meetings. The Role - What You''ll Be Doing You will help prepare accurate, competitive tenders, working from drawings and specifications through to site assessments and supplier quotations. Review tender documents, drawings and specifications to understand project requirements. Break down the scope of works and identify the relevant trade packages. Complete measured take-offs from architectural drawings. Help build rates for in-house trades, including labour, plant and materials. Prepare enquiries for subcontractors and suppliers, then compare quotations and check scope coverage.
