Assistant Estimator Civils

A long-established Civil Engineering Contractor is looking to recruit an Assistant Estimator to join its expanding pre-construction team. This role is ideal for someone with a technical background who wants to grow into a full Estimator position while working on a wide variety of Civil Engineering schemes What You''ll Be Doing: Supporting the preparation of cost estimates and tender submissionsReviewing drawings, specifications, and technical documentationCarrying out quantity take-offs and preparing bill of quantitiesObtaining and comparing supplier and subcontractor quotationsAssisting with cost planning, value engineering and tender analysisMaintaining accurate tender records and internal pricing databasesCollaborating with engineers, project managers and commercial teams What We''re Looking For: Experience within Estimating, Engineering, or Quantity Surveying (Civil Engineering preferred)Strong numerical, analytical and problem-solving abilityAbility to interpret Civil Engineering drawingsConfident user of Excel; exposure to estimating systems beneficialGood communication, organisation and time-management skillsA proactive, positive attitude with a desire to develop professionally What''s on Offer: Competitive salary and benefitsOngoing training and clear progression to Estimator levelStrong pipeline of varied Civil Engineering projectsSupportive, collaborative working environment What you need to do nowIf you''re interested in this role, click ''apply now'' to ..... full job details .....
