Role Purpose: As an Assistant Estimator, you''ll play a crucial role in our estimating team, reporting to the Managing Estimator. Your main responsibilities will include undertaking measurements from tender drawings, preparing bills of quantities, and assisting estimators in compiling estimates and rate bills of quantities.What you will be doing:Key Responsibilities: Review and understand the scope of works, drawings, and specifications. Utilise tools such as Bluebeam or CADmeasure to measure and take off quantities from drawings. Produce bills of quantities following applicable methods of measurement. Compile supplier/sub-contractor enquiries for tender buying. Work from first principles to rate items within bills of quantities.
