Assistant Engineer - Residential Development (Central Region)An opportunity has arisen for an Assistant Engineer to join a growing residential developer delivering high-quality housing schemes across the UK.Key ResponsibilitiesSupport the Head of Engineering and wider teams across multiple live developmentsCommission and review site surveys and technical reports (ecology, archaeology, acoustics, etc.)Assist with design reviews for roads, drainage, sewers and levels in line with NHBC/LABC standardsSupport pre-construction activities including budgets, risk and site engineering inputsAssist with Section 38, 278 and 104 agreements, approvals and adoptionsAttend design, pre-start and site meetings and carry out site visitsMonitor on-site works against drawings, specifications and safety standardsCoordinate utilities and support programme deliveryAssist with value engineering and handover of completed worksSkills and ExperienceQualification in civil engineering, construction or related disciplineUnderstanding of residential development and basic engineering principlesAwareness of S38, S278 and S104 processes (desirable)Strong organisation and time management skillsGood IT skills (Microsoft Office; AutoCAD desirable)Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilityAbility to interpret drawings and technical informationGood communication skills and ability to work with internal teams and external consultantsFull UK driving licence and willingness to travel to ..... full job details .....
