Assistant Employment Advisor Location: Central Bexleyheath (Office Based) Pay Rate: £15.00 per hour PAYE / £19.43 per hour Umbrella Contract: Ongoing Temporary Assignment Hours: Full TimeAbout the RoleWe are recruiting on behalf of a Bexleyheath-based Local Authority for an Assistant Employment Advisor to support local residents in their journey towards sustainable employment.Working alongside Employment Advisors and Employer Engagement Advisors, you will help prepare adult job seekers for work by delivering employability support, facilitating workshops, supporting job search activities, and matching suitable candidates to employment opportunities. This is a varied and rewarding role requiring strong communication skills, a customer-focused approach, and the ability to motivate individuals who may face barriers to employment.Key ResponsibilitiesSupport the Employment Advisors and Employer Engagement Team in preparing residents for employment opportunities.Deliver one-to-one appointments, employability workshops, introductory sessions, and job search support activities.Provide information about employment support programmes and services to potential participants.Complete client onboarding processes and ensure all paperwork is accurately completed in line with funding and compliance requirements.Support and motivate clients with their job search activities, providing guidance on vacancies, working interviews, and pre-employment training opportunities.Assist clients with ..... full job details .....
