The postholder will lead borough-wide planning, regeneration, housing delivery and infrastructure programmes, ensuring growth translates into tangible benefits for residents, including housing, economic opportunity and improved places. Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and lead Newham''s long-term growth and infrastructure strategy. Provide overall leadership for growth, regeneration, housing and infrastructure programmes. Oversee major regeneration and infrastructure projects, ensuring delivery at pace and scale. Act as the Council''s senior representative with developers, investors, infrastructure providers and public-sector partners. Manage and oversee significant capital investment, external funding streams and developer contributions. Secure funding and investment to support economic growth and infrastructure development. Advise elected members and senior leadership on strategic growth, risk and investment decisions.Drive organisational transformation and service improvement across the portfolio.
